As part of our sustainability efforts, our teams in Gabon launched a new initiative to reduce operational waste while maintaining high-quality service for Borr Drilling, an offshore customer.
This initiative focuses on the collection and return of large water jugs used offshore. Instead of disposing of empty containers after use, approximately 500 water jugs are now systematically shipped back to the supplier to be reused or recycled.
This initiative allows us to continue supplying fresh drinking water to offshore personnel while significantly limiting the amount of waste generated during operations.
In offshore environments, waste management is a constant challenge. Every improvement, even a simple operational adjustment, can contribute to reducing our environmental footprint. By introducing this return system, our teams are helping support a more responsible and circular approach to resource management.
Beyond the environmental benefits, this initiative also reflects the mindset and engagement of our teams on the ground. Sustainability is built through practical actions, collaboration, and a willingness to improve the way we operate every day.
